A liar is intentional deceiving, uttering a false statement one does NOT know is false isn't lying, is it?

a hypocrite may genuinely NOT realize their actions are in conflict with what they say- frequently they are merely blind to inconsistency- and you can lie about anything, but hypocrisy is more about emotional or moral things

I think they are quite different.
