How do you see it?<< In my case I'm fighting the impulse of taking it as enjoyment. There's quite a lot hanging on it in my/our case. I would not end up a beggar if I blew it - its not that serious - but in contrast to you and others on the thread I guess the pile I'm hoarding plays a substantial part in my retirement dreams. OTH I dont take that too seriously, I dont even know how much me and my wife should have to retire in a decent fashion. I did start to invest in a different fashion last autumn: I work out. I pump iron now 5 days a week, which means Im healthy and my health bills down the road will be a non-issue. BTW, I probably will never retire anyways, it's too much fun. >>The fun acct has almost quintupled in those 4 years<< I fold, John. Mitigating circumstances: betting the farm is a heavy-duty stuff, it's not fun, at least not all the time. dj
