If anyone missed it, FoxNews has reported that AlGore the Junior's "Iced Tea/bulging bladder" defense is just another one of his lies.

Harold Ickes has confirmed that AlGore the Junior missed nothing in the campaign discussions, showing that AlGore the Junior knew that he was acting illegally - Ickes confirmed that whenever AlGore the Junior left the room they suspended the meeting and began again when AlGore the Junior returned.

So, not only did AlGore the Junior lie but I believe he also did it to the FBI. That, I believe, is a form of perjury.

Washington Post has the same story:

?Eight months later, the Justice Department looked into whether Gore lied when he told investigators he believed the phone calls only raised soft money. Notes turned up showing that the vice president was present at a meeting where the plan to split the contributions between hard and soft accounts was discussed. Gore said he may have missed that part, perhaps because he drank a lot of iced tea and took bathroom breaks. White House aide Harold Ickes said such meetings were "suspended" whenever Gore left the room. Gore also received memos from Ickes on the soft-hard money split, but Gore said he did not read them.
