I don't think the above sentence is true, and it should be fairly easy to refute. Note that this is for the benefit of the Rambus longs, to show them what a real basher would be saying...

By the way, the articles you link to (by Sassen) are from April or early May, didn't we already link them into this thread?

Benchmarks of PIII on three different platforms.
Note, the 440BX beats the 820 in just about every test whether running the CPU at 6-8-1000mHz.
