Sam and CL, Nice work from both of you. I haven't spent any time with the numbers you put up CL, so I can't comment on them just now. I'd say the results from your efforts Sam, make the hourly chart look like the one we want. But, even that doesn't look that great to me. The commissions are just too big a part of this. You said you used $19.95 per trade. Do you mean round turn? If that's actually per ticket it's about double what I'd pay. That would make your results look much better, too. All this brings me back to my doubts about backtesting this way. I want to really collect my thoughts on this before I blurt something out that doesn't really reflect what I mean.
