My reason for wanting to buy QCOM was the Nokia CEO's interview. I could get a feeling that some sort of deal with QCOM is also around the corner. Surely, they have a great handset business (with huge margins) which is growing very well. Getting more into cdma market, will only help their top line growth. I am a big believer in nokia as well.
I feel that a deal with NOKIA will taken as huge by QCOM investors. Even that PaineWebber analyst seemed to make sense to me. He was also on the same programme.

good luck.
