Ken - A couple NT Yahoo posters have dug up some interesting criminal connections with the company that appears to be the source of the NT strong sell recommendations. Both Excite/Quicken and Yahoo use Zacks for analyst ratings info. Canaccord Capital rated NT as an "underperform" dated 5/31/00 on a Zacks report which seems to be the likely source of the strong sell turning up on Yahoo and Excite. The strong sell on Yahoo is now a moderate sell and has been changed to a sell on Excite/Quicken as well.

Does anyone know why Zacks is disseminating information from such an obviously shady source? The details of the 1999 SEC investigation which included Canaccord Capital can be found at sec.gov. - peggylynn

here is what I got from Zacks....I just happen to get free research through one of my online accounts.

CANACCORD CAPIT 05/31/00 MARKET UNDERPERFORM

This has to be them....if you check the date it matchs, why it shows up as sell must be due to their number rankings....

The Vancouver Sun has an article about Vancouver Brokers pumping worthless offshore securities in US and Vancouver.

It says and I quote: "These are brokers who wake up in the morning, put their noses into the air, smell manure and head straight to it."

Under the title "Vancouver: Turnstile for dirty U.S. stock deals", I quote: "November 1999: SEC alleges that convicted bank fraudster Grant Curtis and cocaine trafficker Leo Mangan used Vancuver-based Canacord Capital Corp. to sell hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of stock from bogus offshore companies to U.S. investors."

This, my friend, is "Strong Sell"
