I guess the only thing that I can say about Dell's stock at this time is simply that it sure is acting weird. Bad news sure drives it down quickly, while good news doesn't seem to have any impact on the stock's performance. The only decent move we had in the stock's performance was when the last earnings report was released.

I heard one analyst on CNBC the other day who said he would not touch Dell's stock until they demonstrated that they were "moving beyond the box". Sorry, I don't recall the analyst's name. On the other hand, we have analysts like Niles who are pounding the table in favor of Dell.

Oh well, only time will tell how this all plays out.

PS: We should not forget that we still have the Feds to deal with. If they overshoot the soft landing, and we have a crash landing, there goes the markets and there goes Dell. JMO
