Court of public opinion!? This from the same person who was talking about science and objective truths in the past!!! ROFL! As for AG - as well as other economists - disagreeing with the BLS, good for them. Many other economists - with BLS' own - agree with the BLS OTOH. This is what academic debates are all about. Statistical methodologies are always being refined via this routes. Meanwhile, the court of public opinion should do best to remain silent and follow the debate, IMHO. BTW, isn't AG considered to be a fool around here? <VBG>
