True. Another area where quality has to show thru technique and tool. Spouse gets well done student junk and well done work.

There is a B-17 Flying Fortress and a P-51 Mustang at an airport 12 miles from here. And a B-24. Flew in last night; I heard the B-17 because I was under its approach with the rail stuff. AWESOME.

We were in a grove of old oaks and it could have been 1944 and a crash landing in France. Or a field in Britain. Silhouetted army green against blue and white billowing mountain clouds.

The sound, the sound, the sound......

I was practically crying, I was so happy to see it. Just not gonna get to watch a B-17 land in your lifetime, unless you are one lucky fukker.
