I don't know. They have the "appearance of a group". If it's just coincidence it's been an awful LOT of coincidences for a VERY long time. But does it matter? No, not really. I'll never grow to like it, I suppose I will always be annoyed when I see it- but only mildly. Do I understand why they perceive themselves to be such victims? No. Do I care any longer? No. understanding is, I think, impossible. That's ok. I don't understand lots of people. And I begin to not care very much. I am concentrating mostly on the people I do "think" I understand (although one can never be sure) and whom I want to understand.

Try this, CB. Why don't you jump on a bus about half-filled with black people. Then, why don't you proclaim loudly enough for all to hear, "I know this great joke but I can't tell you now, cause this "N*****" might think we're laughing at HIM." Would the possibly unfriendly reaction of many of these people, who are strangers to one another, really surprise you? Would they qualify as a gang? Would you think their words or actions were part of a conspiracy? Would you blame "them" for any ruckus? Would their "coincidental" response to you cause you to consider them as helpless as a dog "licking its ass"? Just curious. M (The Ignored, I think)
