on the surface i agree its a question of when, but, are all these bets going one way ? i.e. perhaps some derivatives cancel others out, so that no matter what happens, the big players can't get too hurt ? obviously you don't have the derivatives list in your hip pocket, but are these institutions that cocky that they'd play on the high wire like this ? i mean, they would know at least what WE know about their risky positions ?
