A pretty good audio presentation from an ex-Intel guy now at Transmeta is available at: silicontech.com The first part has to do with the death of RDRAM, but then it gets on to the subject of mobile power consumption. By the way, you are right that it is impossible to make accurate estimates of what kind of power consumption the difference between DDR and RDRAM would be. All I wanted to do was to give an order of magnitude kind of estimate. -- Carl
