I am not following your point here. I am actually up 5% this year again with the Naz where it is now. I would say it is stock picking but I am not really doing the picking;-)

This is two different issues for me. One is my business and the gold is inventory. The other is a diversified method of asset allocation.

Ike, the price of gold is now about the same as what it was when i bought my and my wife's wedding rings in 1990.

Too bad we've had inflation once or twice since then! <gg>
