Ive read it, and though I am bullish on Qcom, obviously phone sales will slow. However the companies to worry about would be NOk and MOT whom have more exposure to handset biz. As for slowing growth now? I dont think I buy it, maybee in segements of the market. I would be very curious as to what companies phones are gathering dust. Qcom already pre anounced at last CC that chip sales were outstanding and getting better. That is a leading indicator of phone sales this quarter. however things can change on a dime, and I choose to be fearfull not greedy in this market. I have 5-10,000 shares of Q but I used to have 70,000. SO Iam being carefull. The headsup(though I knew of it) is appreciated.

Greenberg is a 100% short always looking to attack in contrarian ways. Cell phone demand down? Like hell it is. Exploding all around the world. Maybe not at Radio Shack, but would you go to Radio Shack to get your cel phone? Anyway ATT's new internet wireless phones look huge in the US and in Europe everyone and I mean everyone has a cel phone. The Nokia store in Amsterdam for instance always has lines at the cash reigsters. Competition yes, plenty of it, but slowing? If it is it's slowing from warp speed to light speed. Grenberg must always be taklen with a grain of salt as he's admittedly wrong much of the time. He sticks his neck way out there using guestimates and sometimes it gets cut off.
