I have been trying to come up with a long stock to pair with a RMBS short. Do you have any ideas? Some of these characters
think this dog is going to do a double top around $400. I guess anything is possible. If these idiots are successful the only safe
place is deep out of the money puts.

The leap credit spreads are still working...amazing.

I think its possible (if unlikely) that RMBS could got to $400, its also possible it could go to $100. It just jumps all over the place. You could try a straddle on it. I got that idea from another poster on SI. I made 30% in a few days, he is still holding on to it. What are leap credit spreads?

Tim

Joan, I am not too excited about an AMD/Intel paired trade. AMD has made a huge relative move and I fear we are about to enter a period when neither of them shows any eps growth. Of course, Intel has been showing no eps growth for awhile. <g> But as long as they have a penny of cap gains, they can fake it while AMD cannot.

Nothing is a good pair off with Rambus. DDR is the device that is killing them, but it has no one licensee. Which is one reason why it's doing so well. Any other chip stock would be a mismatch. I like ADI on a relative basis and would use it against many, but it has little overlap with Rambo.

The credit spreads are amazing. Suckers are still paying me fat premiums that are beyond the realm of reality.
