Hello Frank,

I have to admit that over the last year I have been in a semi-retired state ... doing research and playing *a lot*! ;-)

I have recently been very involved and busy while working through the details of returning to the work force to assist a bunch of friends in the industry ... so now I'm going to once again get serious and work to be more "present" in these conversations.

I will say that I have been feeling a little like a "leech" by continuing to read your posts and learning alot, while not contributing back to the community in equal volume. ;-)

I truly appreciate your "gentle prodding" and I am committed to return to your threads as a more active participant. Thanks for the comments ...

I have not yet read the report ... is it on the web site? Or is the entire report only available to subscribers? I would be very interested in reading the article, and a quick glance around the web site does not turn up anything that I can see ...

Which issue? (Oh ... and I just found the subscription info ... time to subscribe to another monthly ... ;-)

Last week I found out about more developments in this space where Lucent will be expanding the distances and capabilities of 802.11b ... and it will be able to looked at for potential metropolitan area networks ...
