Or maybe it's just the fulfillment of PT Barnum's axiom:

"There's a sucker born every minute"

Because it would take a sucker to pay $336 for a gold eagle that he could buy just above spot from the US govt.

I haven't read anywhere, especially here, that the US govt is ceasing all sales of new gold eagles... hehe
