I have to admit...That is the ABSOLUTE...best Daytrade...I have seen in my entire life!

Considering he started the company in 1983, took it public in 1995, and waited until the stock hit 300 before exercising and making that trade, I hardly think it can be called a day-trade.

Before being too critical, you might want to look at SDLI's stock history, then tag on 12 years pre-IPO struggle to understand what it's taken for Dr. Scifres' to get where he is today.

Then compare to some of the newly public optical networking companies whose CEOs want all their stock up front, some with 90-day lock-up periods instead of the more usual half to one year. Wonder how many would stay on the job if they knew it would be better for the company if they waited 17 years.

Just some thoughts for a quiet Sunday morning.

Pat

I am sorry that I do not understand your logic. If Dr.Scifres is day trader and stock is over valued, you do not have to buy it. if you own it , then, you should sell it, if you are short this stock, then your arguments won't impress a large number of investors who believe in this stock. Dr Scifres worked 17 years to get this company where it is today and he deserve fruit of his efforts. This company is envoy of fibro-optic companies.
