Gersh

i have Carpinos take today as the following..

up early, then down later, down Tues into Wed morning...

then up right thru the 22nd time frame...

there are several index charts right on the cliff's edge..

if we do not rally this week, we could selloff quickly..

in fact the OEX broke a double bottom last week...and the SPX is right there too...1450 would be that sell signal..

however!!!...i have seen this pattern before, at a juncture just like this...

some times you get that 1 box sell signal, but then it's negated and reverse up quickly????

it's the most bullish of all signals to my thinking..it means the bears have given up...it's called "The Bearish Signal Reversal"..

we will watch this carefully...

i am long and will go to full 100% margin if we hold here this week...

regards OJ

Hope you and all are doing well, Gersh.

I'm out of the game, unfortunately. The combination of the new software and the new machine has brought with it an entire new set of riddles. I was able to get Tradestation up easily enough, but my internet hookup is shot. Cannot even receive e-mail on that machine.

Machine is fast as hell; I was able to install over 30 years of data from a CD in just over a half hour....all stocks, all futures and so on off the disk. Very impressive.

But nothing else works. I cannot even up-load software saved to CD off the old machine because of an Iomega Zip (zippo?) CD incompatibility.

Naturally, also, I cannot update patterns and so forth because much of the data for the databases would come off software unavailable to me because of the combined problems.

Seems logical that it would happen on a day which is raining....
