Well we could go back to discussing making money! I wrote $85 and $75 June puts when they were deep in the money and I
posted it here in a note to Scumbria while everyone thought the sky was falling. I stand to make a very nice profit if the price
holds through Friday which I expect it will.

And even if AMD does take an unexpected dip before June expiration, you get the stock at a cost basis of $75 - your premium for the puts, assuming you have enough money available to actually buy the shares.

Re: Well we could go back to discussing making money!

Good Point!

If you wrote any Jan 85 INTC puts you might even have some of my money.

It'll be fun to see how it all works out.

I will admit that I treated the purchase of those puts as being similar to buying car insurance. I don't really expect to make money on them unless there is another big NAZ crash (which I think is unlikely). And those INTC puts sure are cheap!

I'd like to say that I'm glad to see you're continuing to post on the thread. Even if I disagree with your conclusions, it's obvious that far more investors and MMs agree with you than those of us who are very long AMD (and me and that one other guy on the planet foolish enough to be short INTC). So it's good that you continue to remind us AMD longs that almost everybody else has come to a different conclusion.

Just like last fall, but that's another story.

Regards,

Dan
