No, I think that about people who dismiss the role that technology plays in the modern world.

But let's leave it at that. People who think technology is an overrated fad can make their bets by not investing in it. They can gleefully look forward to all the computers failing when the power goes down and contemplate my economic ruin.

Is it humble to say that the entire market for the last five years is wrong, and a small group of armchair chatters is right?

I doubt it.

The fact is, I'm not a scientist or a techie that understands the molecular details of genetic crops or the inner complexities of fiber optics. But I can see trends in technology and stocks.

That's where I put my money, and that's what I post about. Call it arrogant if you like. I have never seen a humble word from the permabears, except those who put their money where their mouth was before last March and got their clocks cleaned going short. (A few did well anyway, but not many)

It's all about making money over long periods of time.
