Topic = Who can you trust. (1) Price of Gold (2) War (3) Car Windshield Repair Bruce, Your Superglass Windshield Repair franchise is a good way for me to reply to Ron Reece's position against having a store of value item to back a nation's paper currency. Physical gold has a long history as being that selected as a store of value, along with silver, and I believe they existed as the best choice to be use as money in the transaction between folks where one had a product or service and the other person did not have a barter object, or did, but not wanted by the other side. The war angle I touched upon in my last post and only need to state that a system of checks and balances are lacking here in the USA for the upfront situations that lead into conflicts. Once an open and visual conflict is initiated or joined in by the USA, then rules and regulation kick in and any system of checks and balances that occured or not, good or bad, is history. Just looking ahead, Ron has a lot of difficulty doing a back and forth reply to my questioning the validness of his opinion, so I will expect once again Ron's inability to conjure any reply to this post since once again Ron cannot act outside that box of cut and paste sentences and put forth a reply different than those of politicians where they have can'ed replies in the form of "my position" and disregard the actual question put to them and only identify a key word in the question and tag it to whatever can'ed can is hit first. The focus of my post has been on that aspect of the initial decision making process that determines not only what course of action to take, like yes or no to go to war, but also what "baggage" to take. For a nation's money/credit system, how will it's fiat money be implemented. The upfront foundation, type of process to be used, is small during a short time frame environment to determine the nature of what happens next. What happens next is profound and long term. For example, what is the correct way to respond to a condition where once a decision is made the citizens of a nation are captured and held hostage. Fiat money with the whim of governments to decide what state and condition it exists, and is allowed to take on different forms for political or dumb or criminal reasons. What would prevent the above is well knowned as the gold bug's cry for a Gold Standard. Now here is where Ron Reece enters the stage holding up that weather beating old sign that has been carried by those who wish not to be regulated and held accountable, and rather state this fact and disclose this information in doing a smoke and mirror and shuffle of the pea under the 3 shells and warn all of the dangers and stupidityness of placing in motion a device that will limit and corrupt and prevent and hurt the money supply and stop and trip and kitchen sink the ability of the economy to grow and expand and increase the wealth and health of the nation. ok Ron, but is it ok for i to mention that you did a "hand faster than the eyes" and delivered a change of coarse and placed the discussion away from what whats. Ron, ever hear that saying "no pain, no gain" ? Helloooooooooooo Ron. The issue Ron is not what a gold standard will do to the economic development of a nation's economy if it become a component of the equation, but the reason why it was placed into the equation. Why the equation was modified to accept gold as a store of value and have it represented in the monetary system as a standard that the fiat currency was based upon. Ron, focus on the reason a gold standard is needed and you will realize that the price payed is small comparied to the destruction possible through a system of fiat money with no controls. Ron, focus on the events prior to the printing presses going on line, before the power switch is switched ON and the ink delivered to the paper. Ron, focus on the events prior to the declaration of war with another nation and see if a process is in place that would limit the politicians and generals ability to lie and debase and murder and hurt their own. Ron, you still here reading ??? Hellooooooooooo Ron ??? Ron, lose focus yet ??? Ron, remember "Superglass ... good way for me to reply to Ron's position..." Repairing your windshield, rather than replacing it..... ... to retain the original seal in your windshield. ... glass was installed in climate controlled conditions that allow sealing materials to harden and bond, holding the glass in place, adding support to the roof..... ... can sometimes be difficult to reproduce these conditions..... So Ron, under same condition using same well trained personal, you are better off doing a repair of cracked glass rather than doing a replacement of a brand new sheet. The actual glass, it only, is not the focus, but that which holds it in place and is not out in the open for easy inspection. So Ron, the method used for the repair of a cracked glass requires that the procedure be done correctly else it will not pass a visual inspection of the customer, where a replacement of the complete glass can be poorly done and no way can the customer know that the car has lost a very important safety feature as the connections that hold the glass to car frame are weak and can actually cause more damage to occur to people in a crash, rather than limit damage. ok Ron, the gold standard is a way to prevent a bad or criminal or unmoral monetary system of a nation to occur without detection. Your path Ron will only let the incorrectness appear after a crash of the nation's economy, like after a car crash the unsafetyness is noticed through the damage it did, but by then its too late to say "sorry". (off topic) Bruce, good web site, easy to obtain infomation and move through selections, except I was unable to return to the home page as there was no click to home link, and home page was important.
