YOu're right! I forgot that first one- WHo made us? God made us! I am astounded that you still have your catechism!! I still have my first grade DIck and Jane Reader though, so there. SOme of the pages are a little gross; my brother threw up on it one day. Maybe the blue spired book was a later one from Confirmation? I am now wondering if all the negative female stuff I'm remembering can be found in the teachings, but I'm not sure I want to spend the afternoon looking. PLus my husband is out doing lawn work, so I feel really guilty if I sit at the computer. Did you look at the wild site Average Joe posted on the Heresy of Vatican II? Wild stuff!! ANd some of the illogic is WONDERFUL- like saying that JOhn XXIII's ex cathdra writings have errors so therefore he must not be the real pope, and so if he's not the real pope, his ex cathdra proclamations are in error. A fun place to browse.
