OT> For the sake of awareness. . . . To those that are unaware of the modern day atrocities, holocaust and ethnic cleansing going on today around the world. . . .may I suggest some reading of the following link. . freedomhouse.org . . and passing along to your local church leaders, newspapers, community leaders, politicians, media, etc. . . . Afterwards, may I suggest taking the time to copy, sign and send a letter to U.S. Secretary of State Albright or your representatives. . . [from above link, click "What You Can Do" then click "How You Can Help" or "Congressional e-mail Campaign". . . it costs you nothing but time. . . . I had heard that Albright was quoted as saying that the murders by the government of Sudan was simply "not marketable to the American people." However, when I tried to search this phrase, was unable to find it. I'd appreciate anyone that may know where to find this quote to send a link. This is a good site: freedomhouse.org which is nonpartisan and nonprofit.. . .and is updated regularly with breaking news. . . And for those that find these tragic subjects simply too difficult to stomach. . . . how about a quick read on what could lead to a "license" to use the internet in some countries. . .http://www.freedomhouse.org/news/pr041700.html . . . can you imagine being imprisoned for using the internet to express your concerns about your government? How about political surveillance of internet communications? Or censorship of internet posts? Could it happen here in the U.S.? I wonder if AOL has figured 'internet licenses' into their global business plan! <smirk> Rande Is
