what are gprs offerings? what i am getting at is that, with so much of the retail market, nok will easily be able to make a deal for cdma technology and still be able to serve the gsm market, which - having the inertial power of the installed base - is not going to quickly melt away.
whereas when qcom's patents expire, others will be able to build on cdma technology and perhaps come up with a superior 3G or 4G cdma technology.
