Touch good, grab bad. A better idea is to find some other fool to touch it. Believe this or not but you can take a shotgun and while holding just the wood stock and get it real close to an electric fence, see a spark if it's on, and not get nailed. It might be that the wood only lets a tiny bit of the charge through. I've seen friend Mike get nailed by 220 repeatedly. He says it hurts but he keeps fooling with the juice.
