Oh, about your window air. When my dad was in the hospital the window air in the ICU waiting room was louder than a jet and didn't cool. Sleeping in a chair waiting for a loved one to die is bad enough without that shit.

I asked the desk lady for a screwdriver and was told I'd be shot if I touched the unit. A real nice lady distracted the desk witch and several sufferers stood making a screen while I did the dime trick on the screws. 3 minutes and we were cool and quiet
