<Can we at least agree these stocks won't go up forever?>
<lol> of course we can.Actually, I moved out of OSX stocks awhile back,,they have gotten pretty "forward looking" IMO,,that said, I think producers can continue as their PE's lower with earnings reported..I don't believe the OSX will meet investors expectations for the upcomming quarter(didn't HAL's earnings get lowered last week?) and there is a boatload of expectation built in to their prices already,IMO. I think they can be gotten cheaper as earnings get reported,BWDIK..DD

BigBull, FWIW:

The 21 different E&P's that I own all seem quite undervalued even with gas at $2.80 and oil at $22.00. Comfortable stepping down the capitalization ladder to find the value I want as long as I can do the research. For sure, they won't go up forever. Recently, they've been going up for the last 3 months and this came from ridiculously low levels at February's end.

Still don't own any OS's. Skeptical of the valuations and the necessity of the producers to play along. Perhaps in this area I would agree with you that fabulous fundamentals are priced in.

I just don't see any edge in trading the charts along with the masses. No need for me to consult the squiggly lines when I've a strong fundamental opinion. It makes more sense for me to follow industry fundamentals and the progress of my E&Ps. I'll stay debt free and let my valuation measures tell me when to sell, but don't plan on waiting for overvaluations to be reached.

Sometimes the more decisions one tries to make, the greater the chances of making a bad one. Hard for me to believe that I could make any money if I were only willing to own equities when their prices were rising, BWDIK?

Regards,
