Dear Elmer:

This unit still incurs a latency penalty of what appears to be two times some fixed amount (not zero). It is not specified, thus I can assume they keep increasing it until it works at a sufficient yield. I suspect they do not want to say it is around 10 to 20nsec. This would totally destroy any speed advantage left in typical 32 byte cache line reads and writes for RMBS. It looks like a typical you can do it (but, who wants to?). It just shows that RMBS is not for the desktop world but the set top world.

So far no one, even Intel, has delivered any MRH-R hubs on a commercially available motherboard. No user seems to want one.
