I'd always thought it sounded like John Sebastien and the Loving Spoonfull, but if it was a one hit wonder it must have been somebody else. Matter of fact, i'm not too sure of the title either.

Gary - a one-hit wonder it was, though another one of those short-lived 60's groups. Sopwith Camel

Formed in 1966, the Sopwith Camel was the second San Francisco band to be signed by a major record company -- right after Jefferson Airplane and before the Grateful Dead.

While it didn't make the Top 40, Claudine Longet had a
minor hit with Hello Hello. I remember her singing
it on hubby Andy William's TV show.

According to Billboard, Claudine's version peaked at #97
in May '67 and Sopwith 'Camel''s version peaked at #26
in February '67.
