It is going to be a very interesting 18 months until 1/1/2002. The rubber will have hit the road. Analysts like Cabi will be eating crow along with the entire GSM crowd.

While 1X is at 304kbs and HDR providing mbs to laptops every where, the GSM carriers will be lagging far behind. Why? Cause GSM cant get it up, that is their data rates. Mysto Mysto promises of "GPRS Viagra" will not save them. Their promises of WCDMA will be delayed even further as the massive increase of base stations and bandwidth required to make it work will have carriers reeling at costs.

Better, faster, cheaper will have won.

Patience, paitence, patience.
