The problems for those island nations are due to the aftermath of colonization. The conflicts are pretty much about religious conflicts - Christian vs Muslim. Purely pointing the finger toward chinese, taiwanese, or japanese based on "rumor" or "little evidence" makes the article very weak - a total conspiracy theory.
