True (I'll admit I was guilty of this in a prior job)...

guess it goes to something deeper ... if you are at work -- why are you there? Are you there -- just to pay bills? Just because you are in debt, etc?

Or ... is it a work of love? A part of your ulitmate purpose in life?

And how important is the interaction that we have with others at work (how much time should we allot for this)?
I am faced with this much in engineering work -- how much time should I spend communicating what I do as opposed to doing it? Both are necessary ...

Each one of us decides the ultimate meaning of our work ... not the circumstance, however 'good' or 'bad'?
