I'm sure that if motivated Justice could find a law DeBeers is breaking. That's the problem with giving them so many laws to work with. They are free to act arbitrarily against anyone if their political agenda finds it expedient.

The DOJ is bold, but they so far only enforce U.S. laws on U.S. companies.

Too bad. Harry Oppenheimer head of AngloAmerican (parent of deBeers) was a leader in the struggle to end apartheid in South Africa. The company was a thorn in the side of the white SA government. Not that a diamond here or there would matter very much either way.
