Jetter - what I am saying is that the information itself was immaterial. Keep an open mind - to tell someone that you are hiring a PR firm does not constitute "inside information" - it constitutes direction. Since the news is "immaterial" in that it doesn't change the company's focus or business but merely designates responsibility - the news is immaterial and a "leak" to the message boards of something of this nature is a non-issue.

Like I said - Herb is grasping because the news is not of a nature that indicates a change in the fundamental state of the company. It is far more insidious to know that many short-sellers were aware of many Herb Greenberg articles about CYBR before they were published, and sais as much on the RB an Yahoo message boards.

I notice you don't mention that. In your own words, Jetter:

"Very sad.

but I guess if you profit from it that might change your attitude? goes to prove where you guys stand and what you stand for I guess."

I guess, indeed.

(OT) To be fair to the Russell folk, their index is 98% mechanically generated and is primarily based on market cap. There's no pretense of endorsement (not that anyone could physically rate 3000 stocks anyway).
