The twist is that the Solano doesn't run as fast as an overclocked BX...and no one knows why. The 2 year old BX is still Intels best chipset except for AGP.
Even then the Solano is yet another RAMBUS killer....
Not to mention another death nail for Timna...since by the time Timna doesn't get here Coppermine will be faster and cheap...
Do you have a link comparing the VIA Apollo Pro 133 with the Solano? I haven't seen one and I'd like to see a comparison between the VIA and the Solano.
