I was waiting for you to poke your head in on HLIT. <g> Looks like it may not hit 37.

Rande, yea on HLIT - thats the same logic I followed a couple weeks ago when it sold off on some concerns about growth at its Divicom acquistion. It does seem to be just like last time that 37 - 38 is the magic number. Well, I am back in with my cores now reducing my cost basis further, along with some trading shares. Hopefully we don't get a 3 day CTXS type fall-out here though. From a technical standpoint though - that 37 / 38 mark seems to really want to hold

Head Fake Theory: Manipulation of techs lower Monday and Tuesday for the purpose of getting cheap shares ahead of Wednesday's CPI numbers. . . and if brokerages pick up some margin call liquidations along the way, all the better. Then we make another leg up in what appears to be a low volume summer rally.

Fingernail Biting Theory: Volume dropped off a cliff as even more players leave for summer vacations. The slow drift we experienced in late-April and most of May resumes straight through the rest of the summer. . . tempting a fourth test at mid-April's lows on a resumption of media-driven Fed fears. . . and continuation of the summer doldrums bear.
