Superconductor Tech Reiterated `Strong Buy' at
Ryan, Beck

Princeton, New Jersey, June 13 (Bloomberg Data) -- Superconductor
Technologies (SCON US) was reiterated ``strong buy'' by analyst Jordan Estra
at Ryan, Beck & Co. The target price is $150 per share.

Superconductor Technologies Inc.*, Santa Barbara, Calif., was awarded a
$1,703,232 increment as part of an $11,447,177 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract on
June 14, 2000. The contractor will perform exploratory development of HTS and
cryogenics technologies for military RF and microwave systems. Work will be
performed in Santa Barbara, Calif., and is expected to be completed by June 12,
2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There
were six bids solicited on Dec. 21, 1999, and four bids were received. The U.S.
Army Intelligence Center, Fort Huachuca, Ariz., is the contracting activity
(DABT63-00-C-1030).
