My fear is not "SILICON ISLAND TAWAIN" but High Tech Red China....lets hope none of our computer and high tech companies follow the Horizon into the setting sun, and into the lands of the rising suns, and then get swallowed up by the dragon.....including MSFT. Red China PNTR/WTO could offer a "evil" monopole a haven, lets hope Ballmer meant what he said today about MSFT being a solid "American" company that will follow the rule of law whatever the Court of Appeals says it will be. That will set an example AND ALSO SET a even playing field for all American High Techs, and this will be so even if that means a more conservative laissez Faire Anti-Centralized Government regulatory policy, like we currently have in Clinton/Reno Washington and coincidentally also have in Communist China and Cuba. I am, Truly your$, -Crystal Ball P.S. The role of government should be LIMITED to protect its citizens (individual and corporate alike) from each other and from government, rather than the cradle to grave government knows best philosophy that the fall of the iron curtain was supposed to have proved never worked, and now we see liberals thinking it might work behind the bamboo curtain....lets hope that no good companies are lured by the deception of quick profits and other short lived incentives. What do we do once the Billions have gone into Chinese Factories and then the red chinese communist party (acting as the local labor union) calls a strike for profit sharing, like 50%, 75%, 90%, 100%.....100%???....why THATS COMMUNISM....well don;t say I told you so on this one. Pray instead.
