I take it that we are talking Taiwan dollars..
$66,000 NTD roughly $2200 US. Doesn't seem like a lot when viewed this way considering that there are quite a few windows throughout all of the buildings.

No damage to semicon production anywhere. Today's move must be a buying opportunity.

I'm wondering how next yrs' earnings may look to the uninformed. Recognizing the UMC gains made a BIG jump in the earnings, but what about 12 months from now.

Still, with so much cash, ALSC can do so much interesting stuff. Of course a 25% dividend would be too much to ask? :)
