20 grand should cover a complete frame off restoration, exterior and interior with enough left over to send the 327
to the speed shop. And the '66 caprice is not rare enough to justify that kind of expense.

The car brings back many memories, and that is why I would like to have it, although I have no idea what I will do with it in Seattle: two million people but we have only a few roads, and we don't have mass transit.

Back to the car:I believe she said there was rust under the roof, and there may be problems with the frame. She was going to have some body work done. The fenders needed repainted but there wasn't anything to attach them to. Does that make sense?

If not, I'll ask her again. I saw her last week, but we didn't have much time to talk to one another.
