Sir Plutus.....SANDISK

Yeah, I've been watching.....since a year ago when Ausdauer first ventured over here.

Then, when I peppered you and others with questions on SNDK in the Autumn.

Then, for the past 3 months, PMing Ausdauer and following the news and his thread.

And finally, with the most recent Portfolio Survey in which SNDK became a widely held.

So I'm in..........one nice difference between SNDK and RMBS, 2 memory makers, is that SNDK isn't dependent on one huge member of its value chain as RMBS is with INTC (this is a point that we should thank Lindy for, as he has hammered this home many times). If there is one thing I am learning about myself, it is that I can take a long time to pull the trigger........SanDisk, JDSU, NTAP being examples. The only quickies I've made, with regret for the last, were QCOM, RMBS last year, and INTF this year (A Great example of impulse buying - how embarassing!)

But as I said in another post, I'm not sure whether SanDisk is a market leading royalty play, or a gorilla candidate. My gut says the latter, but I don't believe its patents and IP lock have been adequately tested to know this.

What do you think Sir Plutus?
