Nightwriter;

I have some june and some july calls i sold. Of course the junes expire this week and the july's are pretty much worthless already at this point. I think i'll let the junes finish their quiet death and then sell some julys. I may buy back the julys early (since they're cheap) and do as you have done except for august (i'll have to wait till next monday). I'm betting the bigger bang will come with the august calls since the july's expire before earnings and i'm betting on a bigger price move after earnings than a pre-earnings run-up. We'll see what happens.

NW,
You've inspired me... so this AM I'm looking to buy the JUL 30 Calls for 7/16... (What, me cheap??)

And the JUL 30 PUTS I sold seem real close to granting me the stock! I figure the shares will come to me when the premium hits 4 3/4, probably when the stock hits 25 or so...

I REALLY am supporting the idea that CPQ stay in the 25-30 range!
