PANACO Annual Meeting Results

Business/Energy Editors

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 12, 2000--PANACO Inc. (OTCBB:PANA)
announced the results of its Annual Meeting of the Shareholders held
on June 7, 2000. Of the 24,323,521 outstanding shares, 20,033,188, or
82%, voted to re-elect Directors Larry Wright, Harold First and
Stanley Nortman for new three-year terms.
Larry M. Wright, president and chief executive officer, stated,
"As you have seen in the Annual Report, 1999 was rocky and the best
thing about 1999 is that it's behind us. For 2000 we have had positive
income for the first quarter and expect positive earnings for the
year. Cash flow is anticipated to exceed $1.00 per share at over
$25,000,000 after debt service. EBITDA is estimated to be over
$39,000,000.
"With capital expenditures of $30 to $40 million this year we
should end the year with an increase of only $5 to $10 million above
the year-end 1999 senior debt level.
"Reserve growth should be in the range of 10-15% with production
expected to exceed the 1999 volume of 18.1 Bcfe by 5-10%.
"We are developing our reserves and looking for acquisitions which
will be accretive to PANACO in the long run."

PANACO Inc. is an independent oil and gas exploration and
production Company focused primarily on the Gulf of Mexico and the
Gulf Coast Region. The Company acquires producing properties with a
view toward further exploitation and development, capitalizing on
state-of-the-art 3-D seismic and horizontal drilling technology to
recover reserves that were bypassed or previously overlooked. Emphasis
is also placed on pipeline and other infrastructure to provide

CTXS is one gem of a company - the fact they're changing their business model to paper from shrink-wrapped software was to me merely an excuse by the institutions to pick up cheap shares..in the longer term, this change to "paper" software will add significantly to their bottom line -- its a much better deal for their customers, even if the sales cycle is slightly longer..

..we don't see many opps to buy an A1 leader at fire sale prices, but today we did.

...if it drops further, I'll add to the position I opened today, without the slightest hesitation!
