I have to believe that the oil companies are in cahoots with Greenspan to slow the economy down. My point being high gas prices slow people down faster than interest rate increases due to the fact that there are so many other options getting around higher rates. The economical indicators have suggested a slowdown, IMO it's due to gas prices, not rate increases.
Companies in high-growth areas will continue (IMO) to outperform the market (which hasn't been too tough lately!) because of exceeding revenue and income projections. I can see oil as one, technology as the other. Consumerables have been, and will continue to be, in big trouble.

Thanks for the guidance on the charts, got Rolaids! Do you see the chart(the Nasdaq as a whole) as a short-term function of recent events, or a longer-term correction?

Thanks in advance.

John
