Hi Tom: ECG is a puzzler and a surprise to me.

I hold a number of tech stocks in my portfolios,
and I follow several that I'm not currently holding.

As we all know, tech stocks got creamed these past few months.

Several of the well known Canadian stocks (RIM, WIN, SW, etc.) took hits of over 80% decreases from their highs.

The biggest of the blue-chip Canadian tech stocks, Nortel was off it's high by about 26%, if I remember right.

ECG didn't get hit as hard as the others.

Now, ECG is at $9.80
which is $.50 below the high of 10.30, from a few months ago.
That's still a decrease of 5% from the high.

Nortel is at $89.55
which is $16.12 below the (split adjusted) high of $105.67
That's still a decrease of 15%

So, our little ECG has been outperforming Nortel.

And, none of the other Canadian techs are even close to either of them.

Who'd a thought it.

Cush
