Eric,
yeah, considering that one needs liquidity, volatility, readable sound momentum, executability, it's not often when everything falls in place, and this 100 shares thing certainly didn't help. There are some stocks with "personalities" favorable for scalping, i.e. GBLX usually provides good liquidity. When I place on the screen ELON I change shares size to 300, DCLK - to 500, etc... many of them like old friends, you know how much of conversation you want with them :)
When I look at the stock I have never seen before Level 2 tells me how many shares I want to trade. BTW, this concept of risk and executability evaluation by pure level 2 look seems to be pretty obvious but I am often amazed by how few people apply it...
