My original point was, that people in the Windows world don't see the outside world objectively. Your post proves this. Apache is included in what people call "Linux", and yes, it runs on NT. So do many other Linux programs.

And yes, I regard the Oracle database server as a Linux program, since it runs natively on Linux, and most Linux programs are portable. And no, I don't regard it as being a Windows program, because this term normally means "Windows-only". This might change now, since the Wine project is getting serious, now. Corel even skipped the Linux "native" version of WordPerfect in facor of a Wine-based Linux version.

I look forward to see Inprise's Kylix and it's CLX...
