Take it easy. I have no agenda. There was some dispute as to whether the MSFT lowering of expectations was driven by wanting to appear "more micro and more soft" with an eye on the trial, or a genuine reality of their business, because Dell and the box-makers reported sharply growing volume. This seems to confirm that it is a business reality more specific to MSFT.

Actually, MS was talking about the prior 3 months, 2 months ago. Citrix is talking about the time since then and *forward. This isn't good news for those looking for a strong calendar 2nd quarter from MSFT's operating earnings. -JCJ
